    Vaillant 242 boiler

Thank you for your message. I did think that I would be a bit more complicated, just wanted a honest opinion from experienced tradesmen. Not very kin on paying for another fix the 3rd year in a row... anyway I will try to hold onto this boiler for a bit longer. Regards

So far it was the heat exchanger, expansion vessel and diverter valve.... but it still quite reliable and does the job, so far.

    Vaillant 242 boiler

I see...This actually escalated from switching off and back on the hot water tap-quick fix- to turning the heating on and now to switching off the boiler for 30 minutes...

    Vaillant 242 boiler

No, what you see in the video is happening when I switch the heating on or when I want to use the hot water. I can actually her some kind of noise for the first 10 seconds, something like electric sparks.....they eventually fade away.

    Decking roof

Hi Howy, thx for the post, ting and grove is a good ideea, actually it will look a lot better than osb... Is the 4x2 enough for rafters? I was thinking of 6x4 for posts, and 6x2 for rafters but now I think that the 4x4 posts and 4x2 rafters will do the job. Are you going to concrete the posts...

    Decking roof

Unfortunately that is the only sketch I have found at that time; the decking will be over a concrete base, at the back of the garden, not over an extension. I don't want a any fancy roof just a basic one. How many posts should I use? Will 4x4" be enough? Should the rafters be at 16 inch centre...

    Decking roof

Hi all< i want to build a decking roof but I could use some advice-timber, plans.... The size will be 12'x 6' and it should look like the sketch I have attached. Do I have to dig some holes for the posts supporting the roof? Regards, DanielR
