    Plastering Course

Hi guys, I have always wanted to be able to plaster myself. I am a fairly competent DIYer and have had some building experience in the past. My plastering experience to date has been patching small areas and filling small holes. I have found that "AbleSkills" offer a 4 day plastering...

    Combi Boiler Basics

Hi, I am just trying to understand how a combi boiler actually works inside. Am i correct in thinking that the water that circulates within the heat exchanger and is used to heat DHW for the taps is the same water that is used for the central heating and pumped to the radiators? (similar...

Techno timI knew from the outset that an independent supply would be the best option but due to limited time and much thinking I thought "well this should work"! And if it will work I cant see the point of all the extra work/cost? Is this set up really that bad?

    Shower Pump

It is the Salamander CT50+. I understand that the ideal way is to have an independent supply but besides the risk of having a cold shower if someone turns another tap on what is the issue with the way ihave done it? I have spoke to various plumbers who advised me that the approach i have...

    Shower Pump

Fitting non return valves is something I have considered but i was thinking just to the pipes that supply the showerpump as it might? be backflow which is activating the pump. I cant see how fitting NRVs on everything besides the shower will help??
