    Alarm sounds inside only

Although worded extremely badly and factually incorrect, that statements not 100% false. Some systems will sound internally for a period after entry time runs out and will only sound outside after both entry time and this internal alarm noise time have run out. Although you dont say what...

    Texecom 48 Expander & Outputs

You certain the 2nd expander is correctly connected and seen by the control panel? Check by going into 'Engineer utils' and 'confirm devices' to ensure the panel sees all expanders and keypads. If the problem is that you cant get to the 2nd expander outputs in programming, I thikn there's a...

    Texecom Premier 48 Outputs

48's dont have panel outputs 3,4 and 5 (the relay output), they only come in from premier 88 onwards.

    Texecom Premier 48 Outputs

Is it this one: http://www.bft.co.uk/jsp/en/scheda/rising-bollards-stoppy_-_id_73.jsp ^^ Not sure what you have, but thats from the control instructions on that page above, seems all control inputs are either Normally OPEN or Normally CLOSED switches.

    Texecom Premier 48 Outputs

Typical Master blaster trigger current is around 30mA, Digicom putputs are rated at 100mA. If you wanted to for 'neatness' you could use the digicom outputs to trigger the master blasters and program them as 'area type' (area A I'd presume) and '28 - Bell SAB'. No real advantages, just helps...

    Texecom Premier 48 Outputs

Prem 48's have 2 programmable outputs which can be used, theyre on the right hand side of the circuit board. I believe they are 500mA outputs and are -ve triggers as standard but can be reversed. If you programmed either of these for being 'Area type' and '00 - Alarm' they would raise when...

Texecom - How to stop a Chime zone showing up on display?

One last thought, 'exit terminator' has quick response function, can be programmed for chime and shouldn't cause any sort of alarms. Only thing is they are typically open circuit devices so you may have to do a bit of rejigging.

Texecom - How to stop a Chime zone showing up on display?

Why'd you need quick response? What beams are you using that don't go open circuit long enough for the panel to recognise? Afaik there's only the 2 'monitor only' flags for moment and latched keyswitch. Not solve your problem by any other way?

Texecom - How to stop a Chime zone showing up on display?

I'd suspect then that the message is coming up due to the zone being a cutsom zone, and not related to the chime thing at all. I'd go back to your original settings, have everything in area A and program your zone as 'Latch key' with the 'Monitor only/Key tube' attribute ticked. Basically...

Texecom - How to stop a Chime zone showing up on display?

Really? ANOTHER penis size competition? You'd think with all your experience and knowledge between you youd have come up with a decent answer for the original question.

    D1 recording quality

Is there an option to adjust bitrate for recordings on your dvr? Too low a bitrate would mean quite pixellated/blocky images, I realise this isnt what you described but could help improve your recorded images.

ADT alarm - not sure what's been done.

It wont return to normal until whatever fault it was is fixed AND the system is reset, read what Alarm said about using a manager code to do this, NOT the fob you have. Unlikely it came about from you opening the zone, chances are it would have been there before you entered the premises. If...

Scantronic 9100 Expander part no 9124

Really, all I read was you getting ultra defensive for agreeing with someone else who made a genuine mistake. Move on both of you and stop getting your knickers in a twist, all it took was a quick "you need X to be able to use Y, but you both turned it into a penis competition.

    Decent PC DVR card/kit

Its 'typically' thought that DVR's use less energy than pc's, obviously not all dvr's are built exactly the same, same are pc's in a box and others aren't. Comment wasn't that retarded really.

Texecom Premier - Bitten off more than I can chew :(

As standard zones on 24's on premier keypads aren't enabled and will not use up any space on your system, in order to use the keypad zones you have to 'sacrifice' zones from one of your expanders or the panel. So in essence if you have panel and 2 expanders and a keypad, you would have...

Gardtec 580 ... how to stop bell ringing

Might help to know when it shows 7? Solely when your trying to arm which could indicate a fault with the panel as clearly z7 isnt used. Or is it always on screen, could you still be in a menu and the 7 is a programming or log being displayed? Bit more info plz. Also, how old's that battery?
