    it was coming up kev from the ground, but after i collared the flats maintenance dept, it turns out the whole block had 1 big tank on roof between them all, as this blokes was on top floor it wasnt good enough.... on a bit of a different note, the whole block of flats had no gas supply to it at all

    Seen a few sketchy instructions about installing power showers. Am i right to assume that they are run off seperate hot and cold water feeds fed from the tank. Are run off a switched fused spare on a 3amp fuse. Is it possible to take the water straight from the mains?

    well for one, he had no rcd protection in very old fusebox, not even a spare way for the new radial circuit, 2, you had to come from the front of a very big house to meet swa in rear, you had to get cable over a paved area, and then your faced with a wall to get cable over/under/through... next...

    went down to that job today... He actually thought i could take a spare from the ring and run it about 25 metres to shed, buried in a shallow channel in garden, even though he said he wants power to feed pondpump and a birdbath (yes i thought that as well).
