Many thanks, I don't have any headroom due to the double glazing going right up to about an 1" of the ceiling once boarded. So the only option for insulation is between the 3 x 2" battens.

Hi My intention is not to heat the porch but there is significant heat lost through the door and the roof is just felt and tiles whilst the rest is 18mm double glazing and door. So the idea would be to help limit the heat lost or slow it down. Does that make sense?

Not suitable for you but I used a tongue dish right below the boiler outlet, this will help a little as there will be a slight bit of warm air flowing through and helps keep the pipe from freezing. Also if the pipe does freeze then the dish catches the condesation and the boiler does not shut...
