Firstly make sure you can play the file using windows Media Player.
OK Try it this way
Once you have done this open PP and go to the slide you wish to show your video.
Goto Insert Object and select Windows Media Player.
Once inserted right click on the player and goto properties...
Right Click on the download link and select Save Target As..
Once the file has been saved open powerpoint and select Insert Movie from file.
Depending on your PP version. :wink:
Use a standard Keyboard and mouse and then try and boot.
Quick solution would be to just plug the wifi adapter after it has booted up.
Still think a bios update may be the permanent fix. :wink:
Do you have the latest bios update?
More info on your setup would be useful.
Problem is with the USB rather than the wifi device me thinks.
Check your USB setting in the bios.
This is not uncommon if you have a google for it.
Could be as simple as loose connections on your data cable that connects motherboard to LCD.
Does it happen when running on battery only? Is there any difference if the LCD is positioned differently?
