Hi, the problem is this. The boiler is a Glow worm space saver mk 2. A while ago I had the problem that if you put it on for hot water only the pump does not seem run and after a very short time the hot water starts venting into the overflow tank and the boiler you get loud banging noises...

Found out there is a reset button on the tank (hidden round the back) and sorted it now. thanks

Hi, no I don't see any 28 mm pipes. The central heating has been on for ages and no banging noises. very strange.

apart from that anything else you can think of? Is the diverter valve inside the boiler casing?

haven't checked that

Yep definitely solid timber. What about if I use a pva solution to prime the timber and then use flexible floor tile adhesive as I have been told that should work? cheers again
