    not sure.. how do I tell the difference? The tank that feeds the hot water cylinder sits above the hot water cylinder. The pump is located under the floor outside of the airing cupboard.

    Yep definitely solid timber. What about if I use a pva solution to prime the timber and then use flexible floor tile adhesive as I have been told that should work? cheers again
