Will adding sand to a heavily clay soil help the drainage? Could I just add a fair bit of sand,and airate the soil to help get the sand in?

I had exactly the same problem, was solved with a new three way valve.

Hi, was wondering how sleeves are fitted to air bricks, does the air brick have to be removed in order to fit these? If there is inside ventilation, this can obviously be acheived by taking of the internal fixing, but what about where this is not the case? Many thanks Edward

I heard that it is not possible to put insulation under the floor boards as you can get rot, is this all true, would be a lot easier! Cheers Edward

Hi, I know you require an air gap of 5cm, if I have rafters in my roof, can I have the wool touching the rafters, and then with the space between the rafters (with the felt) being 5cm, is this ok,or does it have to be 5cm away from the rafters too? Cheers Edward
