    i hasd this problem a few weeks ago and instead of trying to get a correct size donut washer i used plumbers mate over the slight crack in the original donut. it has worked, no more leaks!!!

    yes i know they go into the pump!!! but they also go into the junction box on the wall (plactic with a screwed cover)!! the cylinder stat and three port mid pos valve also go into it as well as other leads. !!!

    how would you fix a leaking stopcock? turn the external stopcock in the pavement off and drain down? weird thing to have happen !!!
