    Push button toilet syphon replacement

    be careFul there are many typeS of push-button toilet valves (syphons) - i know a lot are 1.5 inch but some are 2 inch as mentioned. you will be better off taking your existing syphon (valve) to a plumbers merchant (not b and q or wickes)!! and asking for a like-for-like replacement!! :)

    what do you mean?!!! :lol: am i right about the top up from the prim feed? i hope my system is installed correctly!!!! i have seen pics of a similar system but with the feed and vent on different sides, the vent being on the left !!!!!

    i read that a little bit of water now and again evaporates from the primary circuit, and the feed tops up tiny amounts ocassionally when needed. i guess this wouldnt really lower the hot water temp much, if anything.

    oh i see, you can buy new kits with new buttons, etc. i know what you mean in a way, some of the flush toilets have like wires joining up, where my sisters hasn't, the button just lowers and pushes the top of the valve! all 1 and a half in ch though which is standard i believe!
