    corsa 1.0 EGR valve?

As far as I know, only Diesels have EGR valves. I assume yours is petrol, so I doubt it has one. Probably why you cant find any info on it. I think there will be another reason for it. What age/ mileage is the car. How does it run when it is not cutting out. does it normally idle OK, have (I...

    poor fuel consumption

It does sound very low. My Audi A8 3.0TDI with Quatro and 6 speed auto does a lot better than that. Should be more like 38mpg for that car, but then it does depend on how you drive. Also, you will get worse fuel economy (10 - 15% less) in winter as the mix of diesel is different to what they...

    Diesel injectors

How to reset ECU on VW Golf Mrk3?

That was my point originally. It is better to fix the actual fault. I have worked on many VAG (admitidly not your model golf) cars and the fault codes are not cleared when the battery is removed. You need to connect it to a computer to clear them. Maybe that model is an exception. Also, is your...

    Flat Battery Fiesta diesel

Get a volt meter, or borrow one. 13Volts or more across the battery when engine running, then it is charging. If it is less, suspect alternator. Also check water/ acid level in battery and top up (if it is an old style batery that can be topped up.

look for an independant bosch diesel pump repairer. The dealer is selling you a new pump, but yours can probably be repaired for much less. http://www.kellysearch.co.uk/gb-company-82183472.html these guys saved me hundreds a couple of years ago.

    fiat ciecentoe clutch

I Dont know these cars, but is the cable running very close to the exhaust pipe, or somewhere else where it gets very hot? Make sure you clip it into its propper route, and dont just leave it loose after replacing it.

    c max rear brakes

No, you are unlikley to have damaged them. Do you have big open style alloys fitted? brakes get a lot more dirt chucked at them if you have alloys and do wear out quicker. Also, make sure you remember to put the handbrake off before you start driving. (you may also have a sticking hand brake...

    Vectra Airbag System Control Indicator

As other things are happening as well, I would suggest it would be something common to them all causing the fault. i.e. ignition switch, or bad earth point.

How to reset ECU on VW Golf Mrk3?

Firstly tell us why you want to do this. i.e what is wrong with the car. And no, it will not get rid of fault codes. You actually have to fix the fault to do that.

small farm of pigs stuck under wheel arch.. ( brakes )

a small stone stuck in pad can do this. Do some hard braking 70mph to 0 reasonably briskly (dont lock the brakes up or have an accident because someone is close behind) do it 2-3 times. should get rid of any grease/ dirt in them. Also worn or sticking calipers, incorrectly fitted pads...

can i find out free if my car has been in an accident?

how tight are you? It is only £3.95 at www.mycarcheck.com You dont need to pay £30-£40 like some web sites charge. Of corse they will only tell you if it has been in a recorded, insurance claim accident. There are plenty of accident dammaged cars (especially very expensive merc's, BMW's...
