I had been advised a hot water cylinder, however the cost is too high for me... The water pressure in the house is very good tho and I tried both showers on a cold tap last night and the pressure was there. If its a case of not being able to do it with either tho, I may as well just go for...

I have a double switch in my kitchen that only one half is connected (to the ceiling lights) Is there an easy way for me to connect the other switch to an external light? Obviously i'd drill through the wall to take the wires out from the switch, but this would just create a localised...

Any idea how i might hunt this down? I've noticed a few drips from the inlet pipe on the boiler where i top the pressure up, but I tightened this and it seems to have stopped it. Also one of the radiators was dripping, but tightening that seemed to have stopped it... both could potentially...

No idea how old the current one is - it certainly looks old. Just bought the house, and no history on it unfortunately... Any thoughts what the pressure loss might be then?

Sorry to join in an old thread, but i'm looking at getting some Yale Pet Sensors for my cat (since we used to have the normal ones, but i think these will go off!) I'm concerned that the pet sensors may not be right for a cat... can anyone confirm whether they've used these?

Homeserve were £195... including all parts and labor... If it turns out to be that, is it a simple switchover of parts? Or does the system need a power flush? Also, does anything need doing to prevent it happening again?
