DT-W would be the best bet, you’re using the wrong sensor in the wrong environment unfortunately. I have 2 DT-W’s (shed and garage) and both (touch wood) have been flawless.

It’s an empty shell at the moment. The windows had to have some sort of grills at the top to satisfy the regs? There is also a smoke detector. Unsure about insurance implications. They’re basically saying “so far so good”.

No probs. For anyone interested, the 1mm cable trick didn’t work as it kept getting caught in the drill bit. I ended up drilling 4 smaller holes around the existing hole and chiselled out a nice round larger hole.
