Ronseal 7 year exterior paint... How many coats?

Thanks folks - just bought the Crown Solo and yes, it's far better. Shame about the Ronseal as I've used their garage floor paint which I liked and have also been happy with their white gloss (although it's satin, not gloss).

Ronseal 7 year exterior paint... How many coats?

Bought this in Oxford blue for a new front door. Primed, given it two coats and it's still not a consistent colour. I'm not sure looking at if if even the third coat will do it. Anyone got any experience of this paint and colour?

    Render 99% perfect finish .

Just had the same problem. I ended up raking out an an area about an inch wide and back to the brick and put in more render. Filler will give a smooth finish and is likely to show and render is unlikely to stick if it's just a small dent. Wet teh effected hole before you apply the new render

How to finish house render where it meets ground?

Having my house rendered and can either stop it with a drip bead and then use a black paint below against the old brick work or can have it rendered to below ground level. What's usual/best as I think rendering it to the ground will allow damp into the render

    GU10 versus MR16

Just looking at these and can't see why anyone would fit MR16 spots over GU10. They require a transformer which costs more plus there's more wiring to do. I'm going to buy one of them in an LED version Is there a benefit of going for MR16 or is GU10 a no brainer?

Electrical relay to power extractor from 2 light circuits

I'm planning 2 bathrooms and would like to use one inline extractor for both (if it's electrically feasible), operating from either lighting circuit. Are there approved relays available to do such a job that a sparkie could use?

Wire up before or after dot and dab plasterboard?

Thanks guys - cabling first seems very sensible so I'm going for that approach.

Wire up before or after dot and dab plasterboard?

Cheers guys. Seems easier to do it afterwards as you've just got to cut plasterboard to run wires, rather than chase into the walls, but I'll get the sparkie in first then.

Wire up before or after dot and dab plasterboard?

Extension currently underway and to be wired up soon. Should I dot and dab teh plasterboard and get the sparkie in to wire (chasing channels in the plasterboard, or is it better to wire before board fitting (and try to find sockets etc afterwards)?

    Running plastic pipe in screed

It needs to be replaceable - okay, I'll run it in 40mm pipe. How do I bring it up though for rads without having concealed 90 degree fittings? Are two access boxes per rad and at each bend in teh pipe the only way?
