    sorry... bit thick... what is ‘the deck’. Is it the underside of the osb where the droplets are forming, ie where the osb is screwed to the rafters on the inside of building. (Just been told it needs straps too!) I have just paid good money to have a roof done and putting insulation over it...

    Thanks guys. So would I be doing the right thing by putting loft roll insulation in between the rafters or by the sound of it cut some sheets of leftover colotex down to fit between the run light and socket electrics after that. ?.

    Sorry... the roof is not insulated as yet.. I was going to run the wire for electrics then put 100mm loft insulation in the gaps of the rafters hence I looked up and saw the state of the ceiling!.

    I took the top layer up, weedkiller and then turned over the top soil and then started again totally. Sowed new seed and its better than my neighbours lawn who spent a fortune re turfing !.

    hi. I am trying to estimate the amount of blocks I need for a wall when I lay the concrete blocks flat as opposed to normal. I know 10 blocks is 1m2 when kayes normally. Is it still the same when laid flat ?. Sounds like a dumb question I know. Help appreciated . Cheers

    Rain forecast so wouldn't of sprayed. Glad I looked now otherwise I would of wasted time and money if I didnt wait for the two weeks. Will give me time to sort out other stuff. Believe me there is plenty to be getting on with. Thanks a lot for the advice, will post some updates soon. Cheers

    In a way yes... The garden behind is on slope and we have cut into land to get terrace so I would say yes. But it is only a metre high.
