    If I use a regular crimp, heatshrink and then self amalgamating tape for a crimp joint. Can it be plastered over or should i enclose it in a jb or similar. Searching has confused me more than answering my question so can you just confirm for me. Does self amalgamating tape count?

    audio sockets, using gold plated phono chasis sockets and brass blank plates. The stupid supplier told me he could get the rest of the blank plates(I only have one right now) in a weeks time, but it has already been three weeks.

    At the moment in my house, all the skirting boards are painted in Dulux white gloss paint, with and undercoat. They seem to go yellow very fast. Is there any paint combination that looks as good, but doesn't yellow so fast.

    I have quite a few blank plates to drill and am printing templates from Microsoft Word and taping them on. I then mark the holes with a hammer and nail and then drill, this isn't totally accurate, so any tips on how to improve it would be appreciated
