Hi, have a Vauxhall Frontera and every now and then when started from cold revs the engine without you putting your foot on the accelerator. I presume it's the automatic choke sticking, or thats what it seems like. Anyone got any info on this problem?

Why not dot and dab a sheet of plasterboard on the wall then tile straight on top of the plasterboard, this should make up your 2".

First of all pumps should be kept in airing cupboards where possible because they are prone to freezing when in the loft. Difficult to say whether you will need 2 pumps or 1 as i have no idea what showers you are fitting, i always work to, one pump, one shower.

Java should not slow down your pc as it is very small coding. I develop web sites and can say that where i can use java i will, because it's quick. More likely in my opinion to be something you have installed recently (not java) which is causing your problem.
