So, I contacted Geberit and they said it was the type 260 or equivalent Rob. I tried to remove it as, shown in the video above. The video shows it being turning 90deg anticlockwise and lifting out. I think I have now identified this as a Geberit flush valve (223.008.21.1), which is now discontinued. As you can see in the attached images, I can turn this around 45° in either direction but it will not pull out. I can't see any clips that could be used to release it either. Anyone any ideas...

One side of my shower cubicle has a slight leak through the silicone sealant. This has also gunged up with a brown fungus. I need to clear it out to reseal it and I'm going to have a go at doing it myself. What's the best way to get the old sealant out? (See pictures)
