In program mode. I can see where to set a new engineer code from default 1234, but can't see how to set own user code from 4321. Is it the "glasses issue again?" Or is it the manual again. Changing the Engineers Code '60 Each user has a programmable 4 digit Personal Identification Number...

Well building regs were happy enough to sign it off with the other spurs i fitted so must be a "clear" book :) "Ample enough for a first timer" yes 6 cores from a four core cable. clear as mud. Anyway, all done thank you. And even the fused spur works on my 3 core and earth  i mean...

Page 12 of manual shows 4 core and 6 core cable with only zone 28 using all 6 cores. Maybe the manual could make it clearer.Using my own logic without the manual i,d say connect all cores of all cables to the AUX and Zones, but wire the Tamp global in series via a connection block. The manual...

Thank you. Reading the instructions for both the controller and PIr i was wondering if you could help/explain. If i set the PIR to EOL with the jumper on 10k (JP1) and 22k(JP2) does this mean i no longer need to wire the yellow and blue to the tamp in the controller. Currently i have left the...

Thanks. I will eventually put a door contact once i know (subject to new planning) where the front door will end up. Can't do rear doors as i forgot to run the blinking cables at the time... With the Veritas can a third party dialler be incorporated?

I want to install the above alarm and was wondering if it would still function if i chose not to use door contacts ? What "arms the alarm", by that i mean when i come in what tells the alarm i have to disarm it, would it be the pir i have in the hall?

What is that? And how would you set the stats? Is my suggestion "Set comfort to 19 degress on from 8am - 9pm, then eco mode 17 degrees from 9pm to 8 am" Not the correct way. I assume i,m understanding comfort and eco correctly. Comfort is the desired running room temp, and eco is...

Ok, i will do this for a week see how it goes. Set blending valve to 35 degrees. Set comfort to 19 degress on from 8am - 9pm, then eco mode 17 degrees from 9pm to 8 am. See how it goes. Many thanks.

The bill was after i gave a meter reading following 3 months of estimates. Basically works out my monthly gas bill is £200 Blending valve is set to 40. The Megaflow is only 3 months old.

Not entirely sure what you mean "Programmable thermostats set properly - no off times, just 4 degree set back from comfort." Firstly if it is set on continuous what is the point in a programmable stat? 4 degrees set back from comfort is not 20 degrees.. Think i,m missing something here.

Do you still think it should be on continuous rather than having off periods on programmable stats

SO , should i set programmer stats to on continuous but have desired temp at 17 degrees no higher?

    Under Floor Heating

Well i understand that comfort is 21 degrees. I have stats set at 21 degrees for when i want it on , then eco setting 17 degrees for when it is off. Are you saying set stats to 17 degrees as a "on temp". If i did, i doubt the heating would come on. 17 degrees is not ideally a comfort temp is it?

I do have it Zoned, running at 40 degrees. Just unsure if it is cheaper to have on constant rather than having the programmer switch it off in mornings and evening. Thought it would be cheaper to run, but not the way i,m running it.
