    Removing a fire surround

I used 'no nails' to fix this surround (sandstone) to the wall. It was a newly skimmed wall. I now want to remove the surround, hopefully in one piece so we can sell it. Any advice on the best way to do this? Many thanks.

    Creating a door opening

Can I create a new doorway in this wall (the wall with the horizontal stripes)? It is a solid wall, and it is load bearing. I just thought, if I do knock through I'm concerned about the stability of the corner. Any advice much appreciated.

Mot Type 1 v crushed concrete?

As a sub-base for a patio I've always believed Type 1 is the best product to use, however, won't crushed concrete (70mm down) be just as good? They will be able to build me a patio cheaper if it is okay to use. Any help appreciated

    Damaged high chair

That looks good thanks. I guess it will be okay to use on a babies chair, from a chemical/safety point of view?

    Damaged high chair

We put a (very expensive) high chair into the loft a couple of months ago, went up to get it out and a mouse has been nibbling on it. Only in one place, hopefully you can see by the picture. It's made of, what looks like a very hard plastic. If the chair was made of wood I would use...

    Oil tank

We've just moved into a new house and have inherited a boiler (oil, 3yrs old). It stopped working about a week after moving in. The engineer opened it up and showed us how dirty it was with, what looked like soot. He gave it a good clean and all was well. Two weeks later, it stopped again...

    Adobe Illustrater

I have actually tried using a couple of people before but they haven't listened to what we wanted and ended up very frustrated and with poor results. We know what we want and need to be able to play around to get exact result. Looks like it will cost about £20 PCM for AI but considering our...

    Adobe Illustrater

I want to design a basic logo and some flyers for my business. I know what I want to do with the design. I can't afford to commission a graphic designer so I'm going to have to do it myself. I've been searching the Internet for a suitable package, and I think my best bet is Illustrater...

    Rhino bars for Transit

I need to get some roof bars for my Transit (carrying 6 or 7 fence posts on a regular basis). I'm also considering a roller system, do I really need one? I'm looking at getting 'Rhino' bars, are there any other brands that someone could recommend. Thank you very much, any help appreciated.
