I need to replace the coolant radiator on my Wifes car, its an auto but i cant see any oil cooler pipes going into the rad so i assume the auto box is cooled another way, car also has air con so this rad is slightly different shape to non a/c cars. I need advice on removing rad so i can...

Thankyou fella'a. John, i just recieved the same info as yours via a phone call last night, seems there may be bleed valves involved. Strange thing is, my good Lady tells me; "oh, it was the same last year but i thought it was normal" Dont ya just love 'em. :D

Ok guys, i've done a search but no luck, my Wifes Pug 206 1.4, Y reg is blowing luke warm air from the heater even when the engine is up to temp, temp wise the engine always sits mid way at 90deg. Any clues before i wade in ad pull it apart?? Cheers, Phil.

It would seem she has been using the alley for 9yrs now!! Not much chance of me getting it back now, my Mrs has told me to forget it.

Thanks guys, think my best option is to have a friendly chat with the Lady in question, afterall, the alley is never used from what i can see.

My bathroom has 6 halogen lamps in the ceiling, the ceiling gets quite wet when we use the shower so i'm going to get an extractor fitted to remove a lot of the steam that the shower emits. My qustion is; in the loft the lamps are sticking out of the plaster board with no loft insulation...

I own an end of terrace house, there are just 3 houses in the block, i'm on the left, my mate is on the right and a middle aged Lady has the middle house. The Lady in the middle has access to her rear garden via a small alleyway accross the rear of my garden, i never took much notice of this...

Another thing to add is, are they steel or alloy wheels, some folk fit alloys to a base model car to enhance the looks, but, quite often the alloys are a size larger. :wink:

Any chance you can get the last keeper to tax it for you, waiting 6/8 weeks is unacceptable in my book, anyway, he was the guy who never gave you the new keepers part of the V5. :wink:

I need to replace my ageing desktop and have come accross this one below, also local to me so i can collect. I surf the net a lot and download a fair amount, plus i store a couple hundred photos. I need something thats fast and capable plus the fact i,m a middle aged guy still coming to grips...

Both good advice Chris, but as John says, the pollen filter can and does harbour all sorts of crap/bacteria, changed mine and noticed a difference. The aerosol or "Bomb" as we used to call them at BMW will also do a good job in removing the smell which as the prvious poster pointed out is...

You sure it was not a" Crank Position Sensor" these some times show up faulty if the car is hard to restart when hot on some models. :wink:

My car also has a recirc valve and a duff diaphram will result in LOST boost and as Johns hose keeps blowing off i would suspect boost issues are not a problem. EDIT; just noticed the prob is fixed, must pay attention. :oops:

You got away lighter than us then, my Son in Laws Polo exibited simular symptoms and the diagnosis was a broken O/S/R abs sensor, a replacement has cured it, but it cost a bit more than 50p. :wink:

Could be onto something there John, we've just sold a Micra with the same symptoms as the OP states, we replaced the IAC with a new one and all is well. 8)
