    Meeting Up.

Ohhhhhhh yes, that would be entertainment worth paying for, I'd fly to get to that one. The only thing is, how do you know who's who? How many Tim Wests would show?

    boxing

Your understanding is correct, but it ain't a game  Correct also that the authorities tend only to react when a boxer is brain damaged or killed, and the anti-boxing bandwagon rolls again. It seems nobody has the boxer's interests at heart, everybody is in it for themselves...

    boxing

Watched it a couple of hours ago (Sky+), and thought the referee in the Khan v Limond match was possibly negligent in not stopping the fight in the seventh round, but to let the match continue to the end of the eighth without any obvious concern for Limonds welfare, I thought was totally...

Okey dokey then. Thanks all for your input, much food for thought, so I'll consult with the boss (not allowed to make executive decisions on my own  ) and "register" that star name. Hmmm.

    tiling on new plaster

If the plaster is a skim finish on board I would suggest 48hrs - If it's skim on top of a bonded wall (ie old tiles taken off and coat of bonding applied to generally make good, with skim finish applied afterwards) personally I would say 24hrs. If it's just a bonded wall made good for re-tiling...

Eye of the bull my friend! You know too much..... clearly. Damn near poetic. The going is currently soft(us) perhaps? Think I will put a deadline on this of midnight tonight, don't want to bore you all. Ta.

Thanks Softus, you're in the mix. But what's the significance of Rigil? I'm not familiar with the term. It's not a crafty anagram is it?

Stultz, respect to you for your astronomic awareness, you clearly have a passion for the celestial. I hope you were'nt offended by my space poo reference. I would be interested in establishing just how honest I think this org is, so if you have the time check this out, I would be obliged...

Mate, you can't see this thing without the assistance of the Hubble, it's one of zillions of stars that are registered in an insignificant catalogue that only exists as a result of humankind's manically driven insistance on keeping lists and organising stuff. This thing is so far away any water...

Too much time or not, the effort is there to see and I appreciate it. Hybrid Strata? I think you're back in contention my friend. Taste her vest? that's so Avid Merrion,

    @!~~#! $%**@£ BLANKET WEED!!!!!!!

Yep, liking the chicken wire with cut out, will take that on, thanks. I have tried to cut the flow rate down, and I can achieve a nice effect that stays well within the pond footprint. Problem is, after a couple of days, the pump intake and fountain head get clogged with the vile weed and...

Quote accepted but don't want the work

You're not wrong! The problem is I never had any intention of taking on subbies, contracts, big risk business - it just sort of went organic on me and I'm still not in control, I do kind of get a kick out of buskin' it though. :o

Now that is intriguing, that is creativity incarnate - I love anagrams  Especially when the result is something that actually sounds right, Noseall has it by a nose so far (with a little help from Wannabechippie). Like it :D

Quote accepted but don't want the work

In theory (ahem) I price up the cost of materials including VAT, mark them up 100% and add the VAT again. Put in a day rate, double it and add on 50% just in case. Then I get vague about a date and tell them they will have to bear with me. However, in practice, they get the materials at...

    @!~~#! $%**@£ BLANKET WEED!!!!!!!

Would have to be a tall frame to fit over my fountain - as you correctly pointed out earlier, I've still got an emptying issue because I didn't dig it deep enough  Will go for "onion bag" type netting and lay it over with suitable anchors. Weed is still thriving. BTW seen your...

    Star Names

 that's exactly the sort of thing I'm looking for, strong contender (out of two) already. BOB. After Mrs H put some thought into an interesting gift, she might not fully appreciate it being called "stupid cow" or waste of money, real whiskey is spelt with an 'e' in it, and you don't mix...

    Star Names

Mrs Holybloke bought me a star for my 40th birthday, nice touch, I get to name it but I'll never see it due to it's distance from earth and it having the same luminescent properties as a 40w lamp (no Trazor, not even with my magic telescope, lol). 4 months on, and I'm still mulling over a...

    @!~~#! $%**@£ BLANKET WEED!!!!!!!

Yeah, that might be an option. I don't think the sun is too much of an issue to the lawn, if you're looking at the pond with the intersection of the two fences directly in front, the sun rises on your right swings round behind you to set behind the stone bench. What about cross-braces and a...
