Hi, Thanks for your interesting input. Nope it a very old build..even if I stand next to it it will not disarm unless its spotted someone....whereas if I part arm it it will do...must read the manual... suppose I'd better learn to read first..! :D

you could try a system restore to a date and time before it was deleted.. I think the registry keeps this information in its backup.
