    how do you get a nice bead of silicon sealer? mine always looks like a dogs dinner when i try and triangulate it after ive ran a length of it! (if you know what i mean)?

    im not to sure tbh. ive ripped out all that plastic wrap stuff thats stuck on the floor. and gave it a jolly good brushing. jacked up that elbow with some plastic, so its now off the floor. Got fan heater drying it out floor area ust now. Will report back in a day or two!! fingers...

    Cheers TicklyT. Worked a treat. :-) the chrome section has been removed now, the two sections that broke off are bonding as we speak, tomorrow i will bond this complete peice, to the shower tray, and on Sat i will head to the merchants and get the new one. Thanks again to all for your help.

    Some really good advice there tamz. if you think that loks bad you should see the rest of the plumbing in the house. Note to self NEVER EVER buy a house from Robertsons Homes. Workmanship is dreadful. OK, at work now, will this white key that i pressume is in the existing drain just now...
