There is a small crack in the roof, measuring about 3 cm long by 0.1 wide. It is a small roof over an extension built 6 years ago. I believe it is GRP? Is there a liquid or tape to repair this? Thanks in advance for your advice. Mutley56

Be wary though that the online supplied items are not always the advertised size. That’s what I found. Good luck anyway.

I visited 3 plumbers merchants and none had any in stock. Bought some online and they didn’t fit well. Ended up buying a new pop up waste and took the sealing ring from that. It leaves me with useful spares for the future if needed.

Dear all, I need to replace the thin rubber sealing gasket under a Clarke recessed manhole cover. I can’t seem to find where I can purchase one. The Clarke website doesn’t list these as spares. Does anyone know a supplier of these? Thanks in advance. Mutley56

One more question about this. I plan to start the 2 rows of tiling from the sink level upwards. Do I rest the bottom row of tiles on tile spacers on top of the basin in order to create a space that I can grout underneath the first row? I would then apply Dow Corning 785 along the basin / bottom...

Hi all, Your help would be much appreciated. New basin and unit to be installed soon. I want a tiled splash back. Using smallish ceramic tiles for the DIY job. Do I tile below the height of the rear of the basin top or wait until the basin is installed and tile down to it? thanks in advance...
