Hi I know this is an OLD thread but since you have already done I thought I would ask. Is this module easier to install? Is it a case of plugging in power? I'm not a pro on the alarm but have the G2-12. I've been told it needs to be on the correct firmware version.

I'm not sure on the latter but you pointed me in right direction. It showed tamper so after some checking it was combo of bent cover and loose wire! All fixed now thank you
