leaking elbows

I had some gutters fitted but I've noticed it drips out of the top of the bottom elbow.

I think this is caused by the way the pipes join. I'm thinking of taking it apart and putting silicone inside. I think this would stop water coming out. Would this be right or is it missing something?

No other gutter does this and they have a similar setup

You can use silicon.

The bottom offset is upside down. It just needs turning around and it won't leak any more.
