    Oh no School have phoned!!!

I'd start them off with safe isolation, termination of common accessories, basic dead tests. Then move onto the live testing and go through some cable calcs. By the end of the day you'll almost have a class of NICEIC DI's

    3 Phase PSCC

Thanks for the replies guys, I think I was a little vague with my original post. We are installing a line of Hydraulic presses at a well known lighting manufacturer, their guys or rather their sub-contractors did the armour installation and connection to my panel. We fill out our own...

    3 Phase PSCC

Good Morning, My test meter does not allow me to measure between two phases of a 3 phase supply for determining PSCC. I understand that the thing to do is test between each phase and neutral and then double the highest value to reach the PSCC (PFC in a 3-Ph as it will be the highest)...

    Desoutter Air Drill Chuck

Is anyone familiar with the type of chuck shown in the picture? I bought the drill from a popular auction site thinking it was a small 3/8" keyless chuck, but on arrival its not quite what I expected. It seems like some sort of quick release chuck, i'm just needing to know wheter an...

    Type of fuse within cutout

Load. It may well just be an isolator, I was just presuming it was fused because of the 160 Amp label on the front. The (isolator) in the picture sits below a busbar chamber, from that tails to our meter. I know where its fed from, another building round the corner in the mill, is that...

    Type of fuse within cutout

Hi Guys, Can anyone tell me what type of fuse will be inside the cutout shown in this picture. I would like to look at the time curve characteristics due to a recent increase in our maximum demand. Many thanks

    Fluke T5-600

Maybe mine is just a bit cack then, I am in a factory but not an exeptionally noisy one, no more than a few air tools running at the same time. Not much I can do I suppose, its a great tester other than that simple flaw

    Fluke T5-600

Does anyone else use the T5? I find the continuity "beep" on mine to be extremely quiet making it difficult to hear when there is any kind of background noise. Anyone else find this or is it just mine thats faulty?
