Apologies if the terminology is wrong here. My FEW12 is making a loud noise on the spin cycle, it sounds as if there is a coin trapped between the drum and the plastic inner tub. Can anyone advise me if this is DIY repairable and how I might go about sorting it. Many thanks in advance.

Unfortunately I do not think that the college will deal with this kind of complaint professionally. Several of us have already mentioned this (nothing written yet) to the HoD, the only feedback we've had so far is one of the other tutors making snide comments about people "not being happy"...
