i have a pin prick hole in my rad. its quite big rad 1600x600, is there any chance i can repair it without changing it.

have a problem with my room stat. boiler does not turn off when temp. is reached and even the timer will not turn it off when it reaches time,can only turn off manually

have a problem with heating. rads are sometimes luke warm and sometimes hot. boiler does not turn off when it reaches stat temp. and boiler makes a bit of a glugging noise sometimes. i recently had a new pump put on after it burnt out just after a couple of new rads were put on.

so are you saying that i should have drained it before cutting it.

Why is it when i cut the cold pipe to fit to new toilet, it continually bubbled over even though the stop valve was turned off and the cold distribution from the cistern was off and also i drained from the drain off by the stop valve.

i would do it inside but the guy said he cannot be bothered to drain the system and wants to just cut it and cap it

Iwant to cap a flow and return rad pipes for a couple of months, is it ok to use push fit cap ends. Also these 2 pipes are outside as they were originally in a consevatory that has now been taken away. Thanks

yes it is in the hot section of the pipe. How do I resolve this situation? There must be an easier way than putting bleed valves in. Thank you.

but these were there originally and it worked then and there are 2 thumb bleed valves where the pipes enter the loft.At its highest point.

I have just hung a new rad on the other side of the room to replace an old one. I connected the pipework to the rad that was on the other side of the wall and after testing for leaks filled the system and turned on the boiler.Now all the upstairs rads work and some of the downstairs, BUT the...

I have recently hung two rads and would like to check for leaks before i connect to other pipework, i dont have a pressure tester can anyone give me a simple solution.

I will be draining all radiators down, do i turn off the supply at the feed and expansion cistern?

I am in the process of hanging some radiators, and connecting relative pipework , how do i go about flushing the system once i have finished.
