Iwant to cap a flow and return rad pipes for a couple of months, is it ok to use push fit cap ends. Also these 2 pipes are outside as they were originally in a consevatory that has now been taken away. Thanks

Personally I would use a couple of compression stop ends, especially if the pipework is outside. Cant you trace the pipework and cap off inside the house?

Demount a lot easier, especially when every rat and animal in the nighbourhood has been chewing away at the plastic end

Only joking (sort off) sure push fit will be fine.

i would do it inside but the guy said he cannot be bothered to drain the system and wants to just cut it and cap it

capping a dead leg of pipe outside with plastic stop end + sub zero temp = cap hitting garden fence and heating system emptying, no damage as outside but no heating, c'mon lift the boards and do it inside
