Need to replace handle on front door. Total novice at this! I understand that I need to get the right size by measuring the various distances etc - but how do I know whether I need a handle that is sprung without first removing the existing handle?

Zones 1, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 flash steadily (6, 7 and 8 aren't used). Zone 2 flashes quickly. Zone 3 does nothing. Tamper light on.

Same as before - tamper light comes on, and zones 1 and 2 flash during the omit process.

Walk Test done. Appear to be no problems - all zones beeped as they should. No sequences of 9 nor 10 - no tamper light on.

I need to do this walk test. Why is the difference between latching and non-latching?
