    What is the best thing to fill the holes with. Is patching plaster any good. Plus do I pva the blocks before applying hardwall. Never applied hardwall before any advise appreciated

    dont know what i am plastering onto until tomorrow, with the ventilation i was just worried because of moisture through the steam if that makes any sense. greatfull for advise

    just a quick one, what type of plaster do i need to use in a bathroom, is two coats of multi-finish ok. what if there is not alot of ventilation. never plastered a bathroom before, going to see it tomorrow afternoon. not a big job but i want to be sure. thanks

    Thanks for the fast response guys, the plasterer done one coat of board finish plaster onto smooth concrete walls plus a boarded ceiling. The cracks seem to follow where the boards meet up. On the ceiling up stairs on the landing there is a crack that goes from the wall as you come up stairs...

    Thanks for all your replies guys. I will pva and skrim the dab and then 2 coats of multiskim. Can u please confirm that you don't need to pva plasterboard?

    not massive about 1/2 inch max, in straight lines , some are a little thinner. feel a prat if its wrong. i was going to use bonding plaster but tried a short cut. naughty i know

    getting a little worried , the plasterer who gave me a very cheap quote because my wife works with his daughter said that he doesn't use multi-finish because its sh*t. he said for my walls he will use hardwall, can you paint hardwall and does it give a smooth finish...

    i am plasterboarding my lounge ceiling with 2400x1200x12.5mm boards and need to know which screws to use , i was thinking 38mm drywall screws , are they long enough?????
