New mixer shower tapped from bath pipes

Was the hot water cylinder above the bathroom prior to combi install? I was saying for neatness nothing to do with pressure. Rather then running 2 pipes across your wall out of the boxing then into the shower, have 2 pipes coming down from the ceiling space evenly spaced and straight into...

New mixer shower tapped from bath pipes

Providing the pipes in the boxing are hot and cold pipes theirs no problem in taking a feed off them for a mixer shower. I would probably come from the ceiling down though rather than running 2 pipes horizontal from the boxing. And when you say self tapping I’m assuming self cutting...

pipes under screed or not advise pls

I'd go solvent weld, and try to wrap it. to protect the pipe if anything. Saying that, i'd avoid doing a job like that, bad enough with showers and tiled floors

    RADIATORS NOT HEATING UP

Could be an air lock, or a blockage, or might need balancing, you shouldn't of let the engineer leave until you were satisfied they were all working as they should of been. Personally you should get them back out to rectify the problem

    Drayton 10mm Radiator valve

ang on, if the olive is 15mm your not going to seal it, the adaptor that comes with the valve should have a 10mm olive with it, which should slide snugly over the pipe. or am i missing something?

    Drayton 10mm Radiator valve

if you unscrew the nut off the adaptor, does the nut and olive slide over the pipe? so that you can then sit the valve on top and screw them upto it. is the pipe round and not bent, as microbore kinks easily? and is it deffinatly 10mm not 8mm
