Hi guys, I'm confused about the subbase needed for my artificial grass installation. I am worried about using type 1 as have read it doesn't drain? Was thinking 20mm limestone chippings to allow for better drainage. Either way they'd both have grano dust on top? Am I worrying about nothing...

Or just crack the window a tiny bit and see if the simple solution works first

We had a similar problem years ago including condensation on the inside of the windows. Now keep the small windows at the top very slightly open and problem solved.

I think the surface came off many years ago. Can they be sealed to help prevent muck build up?

Hi guys, Having the parts between the path done with artificial grass soon. The slabs are quite old, the pointing is intact but is a dirty yellow colour now. How is best to clean the slabs and help keep them clean? I was also considering getting them repointed depending on cost. Any help...

Hi, Have seen a couple of responses about this. Having some decking put down. Should the membrane go under the deck (the norm) or can it go across the joists on top? I've read some people recommend the latter What are people's opinions on this? Thanks

We'll be sticking to the norm I think although plenty of other sources available suggesting ridged side down. The world has gone mad.

Hi, Now it isn't April 1st but I have randomly read that the ridged side of decking boards should face down when installing. I'm getting a load installed soon so was wondering what everyone's thoughts were. I can't say I have ever seen it installed like this and is apparently the manufacturers...

Spend 4k on all that and then realise the quotes coming in from the builders are nothing like the architect promised:D

good point about VAT. The quote doesn't mention it so I assuming without VAT but I'd obviously confirm this.
