    What if you do find a gas leak......... Are you allowed to repair it yourself? Or do you have to call in a corgi reg fella with drop tester etc to mend your leak?

    Cheers for that comms :?: While your on... on the inside of a FCU cover it has 1.25mm-1.5mm. Is this the max thickness of cable as I was under the impression that 99% of 13A FCUs would be for spurring off socket ring mains and therefore 2.5mm. Cheers

    Thanks Davelx Can you elaborate on protected FCU....? Am I correct in saying if I spur off and run the cable into a fused control unit I can then run 2 cables out of the FCU to 2 different double sockets or do I go to one socket then spur off that to another socket (like a radial circuit)...

    There is no label on the CU but I have found which fuse it is on and this has 15 on the switch and I don't believe anything else is on with it. What is a two pole tester? Cheers :roll:
