Hi, I was looking at the adjustable Ratchet Wrench which allows you to use the wrench as ratchet therefore turning nuts without taking off the wrench from the nut. But i am wondering are these any good or just a gimmick?

Would vapour barrier make the rooms underneath more warmer than without it?

Surely if you add the poly sheet on the existing insulation you will get condensation problem as it will be on the cold side instead of the warm side?

i guess, as i haven't had any condensation problem in the last 15 years with the current insulation. I won't need to put the vapour barrier.

Hi, I am about to top up the loft insulation. But i have just seen the insulation that was put 15 years ago does not have vapour barrier underneath. Do i need to put a vapour barrier? thanks

Hi, I read in the manual of the vaillant boiler has A.A.V (automatic air vent) cap on the pump which should loosened when commissioning it. So i guessing this should stay loosened all the time? So if there is any air in the sealed system it will take it out?

I got a baxi 80e. It is giving hot water when left on the hot water only. But when i turn the boiler to central heating and hot water. The central heating does not turn on. The flow pipe on the radiator does not get warm The boiler shows the ignition flame indicator twice. Then it goes off...

The new Fernox TF1 i am guessing has similiar system as the spirovent, it uses cyclone and a magnet.

Hi, I need a filling loop for the following boiler vaillant ecotec pro 24. Where can i get one from? And will any combi filling loop fit?

I looked at the link. It shows there are coils inside the water tank. So i am guessing the pipes are pretty big. So small bits won't affect the boiler so much compared to the ones which have very small passages in there hex.

Am i correct in thinking that the atmos doesn't have plate to plate heat exchanger so doesn't suffer from the same problem as other boilers which have it, from sludge build up?

Hi, Got a house in which we have 4 showers, 12 radiators. We used to have combi sealed boiler in it, before the extra 2 showers were put in. We are now thinking will a combi be sufficient. Or do you think the Atmos Multi boiler will be any good as it has the storage tank built in? thanks

so you are saying the power flusher machine can be put into reverse mode with the boiler connected and it won't harm the pump? he said i should put hyperflush in it for a week, before he does the powerflush is that better than puttin ds40?
