    Under floor heating system problem

http://floor-heating.co.uk/heating-film/ My one is like this. It says "Vysa-Film heating elements do not have an earthed metallic sheath and may not be installed in a bathroom" Do they mean that you "have" to install one?

    Under floor heating system problem

He does not want to join the wires at all. He is saying that the wires provided from the mat should have been long enough to reach the juntion box and that an extension is not the right way to do it. Therefore the warranty card can not be signed. I called the shop where i purchased the mats and...

    Under floor heating system problem

The problem seem to be that the electrician is not willing to extend the wires in any way or form. I need to find one that will.

    Under floor heating system problem

I am afraid I have some more issues about this. My electrician came and is not willing to sign the warranty card because the wires need to be extended. I told him to extend the cables himself the way he wanted and he refuses to sign off the card. Acording to him the cables should be one piece...

    Under floor heating system problem

Yes that is correct i have three mats, one big and two small (half size of the big one). And yes there is no conduit so once the sensor is gone i guess it is bye bye. But perhaps it should be installed near the wall so if it breaks i only need to remove a few boards...

    Under floor heating system problem

I contacted them and they told me that i need to connect the cables together in parallel and then i would come up with just two cables to connect to the junction box. My issue is that crimping cables and let them under the floor will be a week link for the system to go wrong. My question would...

    Under floor heating system problem

Dear all, I purchased an underfloor heating system from Livingheat http://www.livingheat.co.uk/ The system seems to be a bit unusual in the way that they sent us three independent matts to fit our kitchen layout rather than one single one to be cut to size. Every matt has got two cables...
