He does not want to join the wires at all. He is saying that the wires provided from the mat should have been long enough to reach the juntion box and that an extension is not the right way to do it. Therefore the warranty card can not be signed. I called the shop where i purchased the mats and...

The problem seem to be that the electrician is not willing to extend the wires in any way or form. I need to find one that will.

Why? it is just a matter of joining two wires together.

Yes that is correct i have three mats, one big and two small (half size of the big one). And yes there is no conduit so once the sensor is gone i guess it is bye bye. But perhaps it should be installed near the wall so if it breaks i only need to remove a few boards...

By the prob you mean the circuit made by the three mats once their wires have been spliced and joined?

PVA glue is the most appropiate then i guess?

They do not say anything about glue however someone mentioned it to me. Just tu put some PVA in the groove to avoid movement.
