I was a bit worried over using large tiles in a small bathroom, thinking it was gonna look daft but my wife fell in love with the tiles as soon as she seen them. So they were duly bought and your right Zampa large tiles do look classy.

Thanks gcol, i started doing the tiling round the window today and its looking ok up to now. I hope the same can be said tomorrow when i do the tiles that hang downward.

Thanks for the tip, how do you mean the trim row. It also helps if you buy the right size tile trim. Wish i had :oops:

Im gonna be tiling round a window and ive bought that plastic trim that has a bevel on it and then about an inch flat piece with holes in it. Whats the best way of putting this stuff in position, im not a 100% confidant in using it. I mean were do you start, what would be the best place to start...

My main purpose in doing this experiment was to see if i could see a film formed on the plaster after using pva and by diluting the pva at 5/1 would it still stop some of the absorbtion. Now on that second point i dont know if the reason for using the pva is to just slow down the water...
