    Heatline VIZO

Ok cool, good advice there. I'll ring them and ask about spare prices for things such as PCB's, diverter valves, heat exchangers. These always generally over shadow the original complete unit cost. Just thought it would be an idea to buy two considering I can get them for £315 inc vat. All...

    Heatline VIZO

Well I hope he does, i'll make sure he's corgi registered. Tempted to buy 2 and keep one that can be canabalised if any faults occur. Bound to be cheaper than buying parts seperately. Sheds sell some good boilers and if you weren't willing to fit it you would obviously lose out financially...

Is he just changing parts in a hope to fix the problem? I can understand how you feel, nightmare! Tony's right about finding a repair only man, at least they won't lie and say it's irrepairable.

    No Dial Tone

Probably best you do get BT in. I Believe they're reponsible for everything to the master socket so should be free. Was for me, he even checked my extensions which was kind of him. I always believed broadband and voice were on different frequencies so if you have broadband then voice...

I have a spare 16amp circuit that used to be used for an immersion heater but I've removed the tank now, what i'd like to know is, could I go off this with a fused one of these rated at 3 amps for a combi boiler? Or do I need to change the mcb?

    21.5mm overflow

Well, I have a 40mm pipe and was going to fit a tee to this for 21.5mm pipe to go in but can't see anything i could use. Any ideas? do they sell tee's which are 40mm/40mm/21.5mm? Or is there something i can't use to insert into the 40mm tee that brings it down to 21.5?

    biasi boilers

They'll do the job just fine. If an installer puts them onto dirty existing water pipework full of sludge you'll have no end of problems. If they do it properly and flush the pipework first and commission it properly it'll be a good value boiler. Just because one person has bad experience...

    This doesn't look right!!

I've gotta have this done soon. Probably against corgi regs etc but may fit the tile myself and let corgi do flue part. If this is what a building firm does to your house. Makes me scared to get a roofer in. Not near Bristol are you Nige?!
