I can see the NVM pins, no problem, but are the Kick Start pins the box marked 6 on diagram 3 that you uploaded before? Is it the Comms pins? If so which of them do i short, there's 12 pins? Cheers

    Scantronic 9651 low battery

Can't say 100% sure I've used it before but I do have a feeling that it is the correct engineer code. I have changed the battery before but I can't remember the procedure we carried out then and I can't see my previous posts from 2009 on here to refer back to.

Open the box and fitted it, red light on keypad went out. keyed in my pin code to reset but still saying lid tamper, so I turned off the mains (but obviously the keypad stayed alight cos of the new battery), tried my pin code again, nothing...

    RESOLVED - Scantronic 9651 Beeping

Why oh why does it have to start as we are going to bed! Our Scantronic 9651 is beeping away now. It was showing low battery alert earlier and I have ordered a new one however in the mean time I took the electrics panel cover off to access the battery and now the key pad has started beeping...

    Scantronic 9651 low battery

My battery has just gone. Looks like I changed it in 2009 so not bad. Screwfix or Toolstation don't have a 2.8Ah but they do have 2.1Ah or 3.2Ah would either of these be OK to use? Thanks

    Which wiring/cabling?

 Actually went for the 1.5mm as opposed to the 0.75mm, but yeah I hadn't read your post in it's entirety obviously:LOL: Guessing I'm ok with 1.5mm right? And yes I found the black instead of blue!

    Which wiring/cabling?

Yeah I know about the conductor size, how about this cable I just found at screwfix, would this be ok? https://www.screwfix.com/p/time-3183yag-blue-3-core-1-5mm-flexible-cable-10m-coil/95612

    Which wiring/cabling?

Hi Was just about to buy 1.5mm twin & earth cable, which is oval, to wire up an external light but now notice the light specifies 6mm round cabling. I can't see round twin & earth anywhere, which cable should I buy? Screwfix, wickes etc. anywhere in southampton. Only need 4 metres! is this...

    Safe? Legal?

All sounds like a lot of effort, might just replace the existing lights with floodlights, has to be the easiest solution. (Don't judge me on the 'effort' I am struggling with things at the moment) Yeah the external socket would just make life easier when cutting the grass, using tools...

    Safe? Legal?

Here's the lights we've already got installed outside (not on an rcd!). These are 9.1w bulbs but they don't light up the garden which is 10 metres long. Essentially I just want to light the garden so we don't have a solid black gloom when we look out the windows as we don't use curtains. We've...
