    Advice on Shower pump

I'm not taking it as 'red' what I was told - that's why I'm asking advice on here :) Basically I just need to know now what pressure pump to get - would a 2 bar be sufficient?, just to refresh the application: mixer shower with overhead rain shower & hand held shower (it's not a...

    Advice on Shower pump

That's not what I was told by the company that installed the bathroom (or the manufacturers spec for the shower (the company wanted too much extra to supply & fit the pump, when I can easily do it myself) The output of the pump will literally be only about 1 metre away from the shower -...

    Insignia shower units vs Alternatives

I have decided on a shower cabin with overhead rain shower, separate hand shower & body jets for my new bathroom installation. I initially decided on the insignia GT9001 for it's features & dimensional requirements etc. Obviously there are quite a few alternative makes with similar features...

Potterton Suprima 100 Lock Out - Expansion Vessel

I have not yet wired the pump directly to the boiler, but it seems to be behaving itself now, holding pressure & not locking out. I have noticed it only seems to lock out if the boiler thermostat is turned beyond say '3:00' - but like I said it had the new Siemens control unit fitted about 2...

Potterton Suprima 100 Lock Out - Expansion Vessel

Yes this boiler does - and I believe this is where is should be connected, so as to have the pump over-run controlled correctly - as the guys previously explained to me

Potterton Suprima 100 Lock Out - Expansion Vessel

This is the pipework by the zone valves, I assume this is the filling valve: Also I have checked point-to-point continuity & my system is wired identical to this schematic. As you can see the pump is terminated in the junction box & not boiler?:

Potterton Suprima 100 Lock Out - Expansion Vessel

Great thanks, I think the system needs a good bleed when cold & maybe balance out the radiators too. Yes there is a filling loop right near the valves, or what looks like. okay so when cold - let the expansion vessel down to 0.5 bar, use filling valve to fill system upto 1bar on gauge...

Potterton Suprima 100 Lock Out - Expansion Vessel

Thanks a lot for your help can you upload photos on here? - if so I'll take a pic and Stick it up. There is a lot of air in the system now rads are gurgling like mad, there is 1.5 bar of pressure in the expansion vessel - but the pressure gauge on the boiler outlet reads zero! i think i...

Potterton Suprima 100 Lock Out - Expansion Vessel

Well there's one issue then!, my pump isn't wired directly to the boiler, it's wired to the S plan junction box. there is some additional pipework around by the two motorised valves, upto the boiler pipes so that may be a bypass
