yes, its timed for when the building is occupied. So I'll take the neutrals directly to the Different Cu's and just use the contactor for the brown/black phases to turn the CU's on when required. Cheers

thanks for the responses, if the coolant freezing was the cause, would this be worse or better in terms of possible problems, or does that make no difference

My cambelt has snapped on my Fiat Punto, this morning when I tried to start the car. What sort of damage can this do to the car? is it an expensive thing to get fixed. The car was frozen over this morning, could this of caused the cambelt to snap? cheers

I've just changed a consumer unit in a bungalow where there is a storage heater around 80cm from bath/shower. I know this is just outside of zone 2 and now also has RCD protection, but should the heater also be adequately IP rated or not?

cheers barsteward, I've got a couple of solutions now. I'll try changing the lock like you said, but if i struggle i'll put the maglock on. Is there a reason though why maglock is not a good idea?

yes theres multi point locking on the door. How would i go about fitting a electric release/lock strike to a upvc door. Is there a surface fitted one? so the upvc door stays as it is, and the lock is fitted to the surface of the door?
