    Dual flow kitchen tap

Ahah! https://www.abodedesigns.co.uk/downloads/specifications/at1222spec.pdf This unit states "dual flow" explicitly in the datasheet (whereas many of their similar products state "single flow" - though I will also ask them to confirm.... The unit also comes with copper tails, not flexi pipe...

    Dual flow kitchen tap

Ah thanks - the problem I had was that many of the taps I could find (for instance on the link above), when you checked the datasheet, actually mentioned they were single flow - with the water mixing inside the body of the tap - and so less likely to work on a system where one flow is high...

    Dual flow kitchen tap

Hi, I have a kitchen where the cold water comes from the mains, but the hot water comes from a gravity fed tank in the airing cupboard on the floor above. I would estimate the header tank for that, which sits above the hot water tank, is about 4m above the kitchen sink. As far as I can tell...

Dudley side entry fill valve causing leak?

I have a Dudley side entry fill valve on y cistern. It seemed to be working fine - but I noticed a small drip when it was filling. On investigating, it looks like whilst some of the water is coming out the transparent plastic pipe as I would expect, a lot of it is coming out the back of the...

    Drainage / downpipe problems...?

I have a victorian, largely dry house (the blue one) - except for the corner shown below, by the white coins. The concrete in the garden is higher than the ground level of the rest of the house, and the crack in that concrete ends almost exactly where I see my damp. There is also a downpipe...

Using Drayton Wiser with Gloworm Ultracom 30 hxi

Thanks. Looking at the manual linked to above (section 9.2) the 2 gang white box would be the "230v system controls" It looks like that is connected to the "R" line that turns the boiler on and off, whilst the zone valve is controlled by something in that box. What i can't seem to find...

Using Drayton Wiser with Gloworm Ultracom 30 hxi

I am looking at fitting a Drayton Wiser 2 channel system to our boiler - which is a condensing boiler of type Gloworm Ultracom 30 hxi The Drayton documents make it sound like an easy swap. However, looking at their manual, it is not clear to me how that maps to the Gloworm manual (section 10)...

    Distributed TV / Radio wiring

Thanks- so both cables are carrying satellite feeds from two different sats, but there need to be two of them since otherwise the signals for the two feeds, or for the control data back to the head-end, would conflict, since they use the same frequencies. On these same cables are FM and TV -...

    Distributed TV / Radio wiring

Hello - can someone explain the IDS wiring I have in my front room to me? I have a faceplate with 4 connectors: Sat1 Sat2 TV FM This plate is fed by two coaxial cables from a distribution box on the outside of the building. I assume the wallplate uses filters to combine the TV...
