    change of switch socket / plug socket

    So I have got to check the interrupter and plugs and believe there is earth as per picture attached. so as there is Earth - is that all right to change the plate without changing the consumer unit? I guess the risk here is me to use metal socket / light switch is the risk of electrocution...

    Hi Toria, plan for prep is - sugar soap quick wash - light sanding or proper sanding when bad previous finish or stain / mark, - repair any bit damage if any - dust with microfiber anything else suggested?

    Colour will be similar or not much different - but it will annoy me if i see the previous color - finger cross the mini roller will be the right option and much simpler too! :-) than taking the radiator out

    long reach roller? did not think about this - but that might paint the inside of the radiator? Will check the size of the mini roller when off to the shop later! :-) as space between wall and the radiators are between 1 to 2 cms and up to 3 for the third radiator

    By cutting in on the wall, what do you mean? do you mean the edge (anything close to woodwork, ceiling) on a brush and then the main wall on a roller?

    Great thanks so much for input - really useful. thanks for the recommendation for the filler - Will get that one - pretty decent review too. Sanding wise - any specific grade paper I should be using when sanding - there is so many option in the shop and online and bit confused.
