Yes it is being raised so that it will meet the ceiling in the adjacent room as we are knocking through.

cheers Nose all, Trouble is I will have a great deal of trouble getting one in on the other wall. So I wanted to go straight through both walls with the strong boy as one side has much easier access.

Can 1 x strong boy be used to prop both sides of a double skin wall or do you have to prop both sides individually?
