Bobby,it seems like its losing water somewere if your venting the rads ,so unless youve a leak under the floor and its ok when the heats on and doesnt start until the system is stone cold and the tank cant reblenish it quick enough it must be a expansion proplem

is the tank full now and is it filling up when you vent the rads ,make sure the ballvalve is letting the water into the tank and no valves are off on the cold feed from the tank

is it trying to ignite can you see any sparking or a small flame in the boiler when trying c/.h

Firstly and no disrespect intended , have you checked the leads are all on 2 white leads and the harness can sometimes be a bit dodgy, if all ok then the new pcb might be bust,but check the leads ,is it sparking in the boiler or not,

it will have arrows pointing up and down v > like this if its just > and the other end is hot first then its wrong

the header tank is at the min but the expansion is going into the cold feed so its low and with a powerful p[ump it will be pushing up is the water warm in the tank,why not think about making it a sealed system,with a expansion vessel ,will stop any of this trouble if ,pump lowered doesnt

Turn pump down sounds like its pumping over,is your pump on 3,if so just turn down to 2

If you have a mzv,use the manual lever when its on h/w and it will allow the c/h to heat up,if ok then leave the lever in the manaul position ,hooked in the slot and it should be a motor needed not a whole new valve

It is going into a drain which also has a 1 1/2 waste pipe from a flat going into it. Im sumising that if that's going into it, then i can?.Thanks

1 is a heating flow 2 heating return 3 hot water circ flow 4 hot water circ return . top pipes are the flows .If you have a fully pumped system a pipe might be a cold feed from header tank to boiler .Have you got a mzv and pump or just a pump

make sure you put it down the cold and not the hot .should have gate valves on turn one off until you know which is which.then carry on.

get a hose onto the cold tap in the bathroom and force it up so thewater goes back up into the tank and clears the airlock or in the loft get a bit of hose and feed it into the cold pipe so you will need a t shirt on so you dont get wet and just push it in the hole and put the hose on to were...

Apart from dont run out of gas. when you go to relight it turn the gas cookler on for 30 secs use 3 rings and turn them off,then go to your boiler and try it then,should be just air and need purging

DID YOU HEAR SOMEONE THEN?

Have you a mixer tap, if so open hot tap fully and if you can open the cold and keep it from coming out the tap. It will travel up the hot tap and hopefully clear airlocks . It is better if you can just get a hose onto a hot tap from the mains and force it up and over the expansion .
