Can i pick your brains please . I am a week into replacing 12 combi boilers and the new are condensing boilers .The only thing id like to ask is the condensing pipe can i just use overflow pipe and can i link them up as there flats and the top floor has 4 flats ,so can just run 1 pipe and tee in then drop it down into the grid. I was going to run the 1st and 2nd floor boilers (8) into a rain water pipe with a strap on boss.Any ideas please

Look at the MI, you need to follow their instructions for condense waste.

What kind of drain does the rainwater go to?

It is going into a drain which also has a 1 1/2 waste pipe from a flat going into it. Im sumising that if that's going into it, then i can?.Thanks

Does the manual not give you detailed instructions with several alternatives? If he boiler does not have a trap built in, it could lead flue gasses into the flat if done wrong. All manuals I have seen tell you exactly how to lead the pipes. You must use overflow pipe, never barrier or similar.
