Combi condensate pipe runs on to roof tiles

Hi all

The neighbour of one of my customers mentioned that water drips out of a pipe connected to her combi boiler.

About 8 months ago, she had the combi moved from the ground floor to the loft. The condensate pipe runs through the wall and drips on to the (slate) roof tiles. There are visible white stains on the tiles.

Do the regs allow for the condensate to run out on to roof tiles?

The is a soil pipe nearby. I suggested that a boss strap could be used to run the condensate in to. That will however requiring scaffolding.

Pitched roof with another smaller pitched roof on the ground floor at 90 degrees to it.

It is a 3 story L shaped house.

So should the plumber have signed it off in the first place.

Based on my lay understanding, if he does run it into the soil pipe, it should be in 30-32mm (insulated) to prevent freezing?
