just a quickie- on the condensing boilers - is there a pipe connected to the flueway that allows the condensate to collect and run out of the condensate pipe?

mine has a plastic pipe draining to the outside. not sure it comes from a flue-way, as you put it, as its inside the boiler. do you mean where within the boiler does the pipe originate, or do u mean how is the condensate handled in general?

any water in the flue drains back into the boiler sump and away with the rest of it.

thanks for your replies

basically i wondered how the condensate from the flue got into the sump - does a pipe/tube link it to it or does it just fall into it??
